Hey, to whoever decides to take their time to read this:
So, I've been out and about in terms of activity -- I haven't posted here in a while, which all things considered is partly due to DA's new format not agreeing with the iPad I use to post my drawings.
I think otherwise I'd be posting a little bit more frequently, but because of that I can't necessarily post from my iPad anymore.
In response, I've actually been looking around for other art sites to post to that might be kinder to my iPad - I thought I'd post a journal entry here partly to ask if anyone had any good suggestions for alternative sites. But other than that, I just thought I'd keep people at least somewhat updated on what's been going on with me lol
For now though, I've been instead going through the process of posting all my images via my PC - which is done simply by just sending my drawings to the computer and posting them to DA from there. So, while it's not that much of an issue, it just feels a little tiring not being able to just post my drawings from my iPad as I would normally.
Though with that all said and done, I'd like to continue posting here, even if it feels a little weird now.
Something I'd also like to address, partly due to my own worry that some people just aren't that interested in my newer art, I would definitely like to go back to drawing some more creepier stuff - in similar essence to my older artworks, you know?
I know there's a few watchers here that have been with me for a long while - and while I'm not even sure if they're still active - I'd like to go back to my older artstyle every once in a while (though, that might prove slightly difficult given how different the new program I'm using feels.)
On a lower note - I've been having some troubles off-DA with things like self esteem, social-ability and time-management. I'd like to get back into the swing of things but there's this little part of me that's cripplingly worried about the future. Trying not to let that get me down too much though.
Anyhow, if you read through all of this, thank you so much! It means a lot to me that someone's out there taking time out of their day for me.

Quest For A Drawing Program!

So I managed to get a drawing tablet, which is good!
but I've only just realized that I need a drawing program as well...
My friends have told me to try getting photoshop, so I thought 'why not?'.
turns out, from what I've researched, it's subscription based, which isn't really what I want, seeing I don't actually have a job, and do not want to spend money on something that will continuously shut down on me until I pay up, which.. Isn't really desirable in my current situation, being a student and such.
perhaps I could do some further reasearch, look for a decent program that's easy enough to use.
If anyone knows any good programs, please stop by and comment on this entry! I'd very much appreciate the recommendations!

The Quest For A Drawing Tablet!

So, yesterday was my birthday (or today depending on your timezone) and lately I've been thinking. Should I get a drawing tablet?
after a while of asking friends, I've come to the conclusion of getting one, mostly because:
1. It will infinitely be better than drawing on an Ipad.
2. My art won't be as pixelated as they usually are, and
3. I actually have the money to afford a decent one.
So hopefully I'll be able to get one soon enough. Ipad's can be problematic sometimes.
